Schroeder Model 2 OMA represents the tonearms of Frank Schroeder in North America. Schroeder's work began thirty years ago, when he developed an entirely new (and patented) approach to the crucial tonearm bearing, using powerful Neodymium magnets to create a bearing with literally zero friction. Trained in fine watchmaking, a Schroeder arm is akin to a fine Swiss Chronograph. The level of precision, craftsmanship, material quality and sheer beauty are unsurpassed. Schroeder arms typically require a very long lead time, but at OMA we usually have most models in stock for immediate delivery.
